We enjoy coffee for breakfast. Brew Central does make very good coffee. I have tried the gold filter as well as it with a paper filter and the coffee tasted the same. The paper filter added just makes clean-up easier.

We have purchased this model several times and it performs very well each time at a reasonable price. We run it through its cycle close to a thousand times per year (twice a day and sometimes more). We bought this new one even though the previous one is still working fine, we retired it to be a spare so we always have the good coffee even if the new one should eventually fail.
