I've always wanted a Cuisinart coffee maker. The 1st cup is perfect and my coffee tastes better than I've ever had. I may be doing something wrong but the plate won't stay hot at all.

Good overall, but a couple aggravating details. One, it is noisy when it is brewing. Lots of sputtering and popping. Two, the cone shaped filter basket will not stand up on its own, which means you MUST hold it with one hand while spooning the coffee in with the other hand. I learned the hard way by spilling lots of coffee trying to fill it! It does make good coffee though.

I love this coffee maker and it is my third one. The only weakness I've experienced is that the on-off switch eventually wears out, and the entire unit needs to be replaced.

I'm disappointed. After a month it has started making clicking noises after brewing and makes the coffee so hot that it has to sit for about fifteen minutes before you can drink it. Its also a pain to clean because of the significant condensation created while brewing. All this and the quality of coffee that it brews does not match the quality of the coffee purchased for it.

I had this coffee maker for over ten years and I finally had to retire it. I did however replace it with this exact same model. I love this coffee maker. Coffee is very hot, price is great, and based on my previous coffee maker, I plan on having this pot for many years! Not a lot of bells and whistles which I did not want. I would recommend this pot to anyone looking for a new coffee maker.
