One of the best coffee makers I have ever had. Gavalia was my last one and similar to cuisinart. Lasted 15 years. Only 1 slight problem with Cuisinart. The power cord is too short. My extension cord fixed the problem.

My husband and I LOVE this coffeemaker. This is our second one. The first one finally died after years of making a pot every single day, sometimes more when we have company. It has the right options to customize the coffee but not so many that it's confusing. I would recommend this coffeemaker to anyone.

I love the coffee it makes, and the ease of making it. The only problem (it lost a star over it) is when the coffee has brewed and I open the top to remove the filter, water runs down the back of the machine. I have to hold a cloth underneath it, or wipe up a small puddle at the base of the machine. It's not a game-stopper, but it seems like something that could be engineered to fix.
