This is the second Cuisinart I have purchased. It makes a terrific cup of coffee. The reason for the 4 rating is solely because I can never pour without getting water on my counter.

Makes great coffee and it stays hotter than my last model, which was the CDD 2650 series. My only issue with the DCC-1200 series is the water reservoir. You cannot see how much water there is in there from the exterior of the unit. I have to make sure my glasses are on and that I am under a bright light. This is annoying.
