Purchased about a month ago- won’t really know until it makes it a couple months. No issues. Slightly higher price but do not mind paying more if the quality and life is there. Company will gain a loyal customer if positive results.

I purchased this coffee maker because I like how it looks. it has great features and easy to preset and keep clean. It works great! I make 12 cups of coffee everyday and keeps my coffee fresh for at least eight hours. I gave it a four star because the LED clock is hardly visible.

I bought this a month ago now and should have done some more home work on it, there are a few things they could improve on,(1) No site glass as to how much water you put in so you are just guessing.(2)To much condensation build up on lid when done brewing and has no where to go.(3) The Filter Unit when you take it out to put your filter in does not stand up to put the filter in and your coffee, so I had to find something to put it in, In order for it to stand up and put my filter and coffee in.(4) If you do not get the filter snapped back in it will not seat right with the pot and you will have coffee everywhere.(5) It really brews the temperature a little to hot and you can burn your mouth on it when you take your first sip. Like I said I would have done more homework I am sure there is one out there that meets all of these little things, live and learn, I had a Braun that lasted 12 years with no problem should have gone back to them, we will see how long this one last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
