I purchased my first Cuisinart about 15 years ago and have used nothing but this coffeemaker..I love this product very much...Fast making and easy to use...We make pot after pot and this purchase is my third....I always keep one as a backup..Thanks Cuisinart for the best coffeemaker I have ever purchased..

I bought this a month ago now and should have done some more home work on it, there are a few things they could improve on,(1) No site glass as to how much water you put in so you are just guessing.(2)To much condensation build up on lid when done brewing and has no where to go.(3) The Filter Unit when you take it out to put your filter in does not stand up to put the filter in and your coffee, so I had to find something to put it in, In order for it to stand up and put my filter and coffee in.(4) If you do not get the filter snapped back in it will not seat right with the pot and you will have coffee everywhere.(5) It really brews the temperature a little to hot and you can burn your mouth on it when you take your first sip. Like I said I would have done more homework I am sure there is one out there that meets all of these little things, live and learn, I had a Braun that lasted 12 years with no problem should have gone back to them, we will see how long this one last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
