Bought this about a month ago to replace the Cuisinart Coffee Maker (same basic model) that I accidentally broke (my fault completely). I owned the broken one for at least 15 years and liked it so much that I didn't even consider a different maker for the replacement. I don't claim to be a coffee connoisseur, but if what you're looking for is a maker that makes a great cup of coffee for a reasonable price, this it it !!

While the coffee maker works well, the clock is too small and hard to read. I'd recommend you enlarge it or add a light so that it's easier to read.

I've had the coffee maker for about a month now and I believe it may be the best machine for the money. It makes exceptional coffee, great flavor and with the variable temp. warming plate it is always the perfect temperature. Didn't know what I was missing

Brews quickly. Coffee is hot. I use a paper filter to avoid the sediment found with a mesh filter. This machine replaced a Krups machine I was not happy with.
