We love this Coffee Marker this is our third of the same basic style . They last 10 plus years. the heating element in the burner just looses the ability to keep the coffee as hot as we like it so we know we need to buy a new one.

This is the second Cuisinart coffee maker I bought. The first one, a DCC-2800, 14 cup, also made a great cup of coffee, but the hinges on the lid broke from opening it wide enough to put the water in the back. This pot also has the water reservoir in the back corner but the lid seems to open easier so I'm hoping I won't have the same problem with this one. I've tried other brands of coffee makers but Cuisinart by far makes the best tasting cup of coffee!
