A great little soft ice cream machine, I would purchase the additional barrel because you only get one batch with the one barrel. Make sure that the barrel has been frozen for at least 12 hours, even better if it is placed in a deep freezer for the 12 hours. I just wish it would dispense the ice cream a bit more fluid than what it does but that is just a personal preference
