Pretty good at-home soft serve ice cream! For the money and the quality, this is probably the best soft serve ice cream your going to find, short of buying a commercial ice cream dispenser! (Wished the ice cream was just a bit firmer but not sure it would come out of the dispenser if it was. Comes with multiple recipes to try as well. Very easy to mix, pour, and dispense.

The only way we get so Soft serve from our machine is to buy ice cream and then put it in the machine. All the recipes that came with it have only given us liquid ice cream.

We received this machine as a gift for Christmas and I was concerned it would be one of those appliances you use once and don't touch again. We're on our 4th batch and our kids have requested that we never buy ice cream again because what we can make is so much better.
I work in product design and there are a few UX annoyances to me, mostly surrounding the cleaning of the machine. The auger and lid, for example, are a pain to wash and really scrub clean. But I will say that there is a very good barrier between parts that can and can't be washed. Plus, the ice cream is so good that all is forgiven.
The condiment dispenser on the side is also a little spastic. I understand it's a strictly mechanical design though without smarts, so it makes sense. I just prefer to store the sprinkles in the little containers and pop them on after. The whole mix-in concept is kind of unnecessary.
