Doesn't toast evenly, has to be toasted twice. Certainly doesn't live up to the Cuisinart name.

Our older four slice toaster jammed up and turned into a two slice machine. I have many Cuisinart products and this new four slicer It is toasting fairly evenly. I don't care for plastic on an appliance that generates heat, but thank goodness there isn't any odor of plastic.
