Doesn't toast evenly, has to be toasted twice. Certainly doesn't live up to the Cuisinart name.

I don't like that the bottom doesn't come off to clean out the crumbs. Otherwise bdies the job but if you like dark toasted items you need to put it down twice.

This is the third cuisinart toaster I have bought. My last one broke. And most others have too much plastic. But they do not toast very well at all. Usually takes two times at the highest setting. But it’s still the best looking toaster.
