I received this for a Christmas present because my old toaster was not toasting anymore. We looked for one that met our requirements such as dual, 4 slice, and able to toast bagels as well as toast and we wanted one that was controlled individually. Plus we wanted it to look sharp. So my husband surprised me with this one. I am so happy with it. It works like a charm. I have toasted bagels, toast and English muffins so far. It's great because my husband likes his toasted a little darker than I do. Works perfectly.

When first used for regular toasting, the bread did not pop-up. Then after using the Bagel setting it started working properly. Now very happy with the toasted, but have to learn about setting when toasting one slice of bread.

I was very disappointed in this toaster. You have to turn your bread or muffin around after one cycle because it does not toast evenly at all! Shouldn’t have wasted my money. I thought Cuisinart stood for quality. I guess not.
