The toaster doesn’t always let the tab stay down. Even though it’s plugged in there are times when it won’t stay down and I had to unplug it and plug it back in and try again. It eventually works but I’m not sure what is causing the problem

I’m not happy with my new toaster. I replaced an old Cuisinart toaster with this one when it died. A toaster should toast, not warm bread. I have to run 2 cycles to brown toast. And, yes, I have the browning knob turned all the way up.
