Overall nice range hood

Solidly built hood. Nice pro style filters that are easy to remove and clean. Moves a lot of air when needed with expected level of noise. Lighting also sufficient to be useful. Two improvements I suggest. 1 - ship with LED lighting, no need for the energy hungry incandescents. 2 - improve the button size and feel. They feel cheap - tactility of click poor. Also size them larger such that when hands are dirty (common when cooking) I can use the back of the hand, or a hand in an oven mitt, and still turn on/adjust.

I was a bit hesitant having to replace my hood after so many years, but after thorough consideration I pulled the trigger on a zline and it has been working even better than the one I had!

Rust! I am torn as to my overall rating.

I am a professional chef and when I had the opportunity to build my dream home kitchen, ZLine was at the top of my list for ranges. I moved in a week before Christmas and have only used the stove 6 times. I take pride in proper cleaning and care for my equipment at home and at work. There are already signs of rust on the top ove the stove.

We just moved to a new home and it has this range. Wow - I can't believe how wonderful it is for baking and cooking. With the high altitudes of WY I have had a hard time with the baking and this is baking perfectly It is easy to clean with no need to use a self clean or chemical product. The oven had been left dirty and so I cleaned it right away and found it very easy to clean following the directions.

We bought this hood based on great product reviews and it was an exact fit after removing a 25 year old BEST hood with outside motor mount. Installation was easy but better instructions for the placement for the oil tray and filters would be helpful. The unit performs great on low speed. The LED light is weak so we installed two E26 medium base 50w halogen bulbs in the rear for better lighting.
