Broke after 4 use

I was enjoying this air fryer until today. The glass just shattered. I gave it 1 star cause it was good till it broke. Don't waste your money on this item. Going to return it, not sure how though cause the stores are close.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Door problem

I exchanged to new one at store as the one that I received yesterday had problem with door , left side of door kept popped out when closing .
And new one I exchanged is working good so far
I love it, used twice already for wings and pork belly
And results were amazing . Thanks

Door Issues

The air fryer worked just fine, it was the door that became an issue on both opening and closing. It would move up high, then to the right with left up and unable to close. Then with some wiggling it seemed to pop into place, drop down on the hinges then lock in, cooked great. Mine may have been just a lemon or manufacture defect on one, mass produced it happens.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you are using all the racks then the food in lower rack won’t cook properly whereas the food in upper rack got burnt
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

As a male on the buying end , I am impressed by the performance of an item I have heard about for years - bought this as it is totally up to date with rotisserie and racks and glass door so you can see what is happening

Okay-ish air fryer. If on sale then it's ok to buy

Just like I said this is a good buy on sale but but on regular price stay out of it. Good looking design initially. So my first try is the frozen chicken nuggets and I just let the presets of the insignia cook it. It's cooked well that it's even toasted. But I have to switch the upper tray and lower tray so that they are both evenly cooked. If not, oh well it's gonna be toasted upper tray and lower tray not so cooked. So basically it's not a fire and forget as seen on tv. It's okay to cook on one tray at all but what if you need more items definitely you need two trays. Next I cook is my own french fries. Not them frozen fries you but at the grocery..mine is manually peeled and sliced. The result is same, you need to switch them trays because the upper will be toast-burnt while them lower is half cooked. Mine is more toast but some are half cooked. Bad result. Okay, the user interface of this air fryer is fine. And I notice that the cooked food is so dry like super dry. Guess that's what air fryers do. So basically I'm not really happy with this at all. Do I go back to deep frying coz it seems more tasty actually (deep fry or pan fry)? One more is that there is this plastic smell first time I used it. So I got curious and checked the assembly. And I find some bluish plastics in the tray door. Remnants from the packaging I guess but they re like quarter inch square so I opened up the tray door like semi disassemble it to remove pesky plastics. Small pieces Not good when heated gonna melt but I made sure everything is ready and clean before I operate it. And then the noise. It's kinda loud I don't like it. This has a rottisory function and I'm looking forward on doing it with a chicken let's see if it will redeem itself because right now this is a 3/5 for me. Obviously not gonna return coz it's not defective and due to covid or making sure the fryer is clean, sanitised etc and all that stuff. But yeah, this is just a 3/5. So ok if on sale.

Cooks good, door hinges weird

Bought 2 of these and both had the same issue with the door. It doesn't close properly, the top of the door hits the control panel. You have to give it a downwards push or not pull up on the door when closing. Maybe I got 2 duds though.
Overall it cooks pretty good, looks good on the counter.

This is simple and easy to use. I've had it for 3 weeks and so far have made a few steaks, fries and mostly the reheat option, which is the best I have ever tried; pastry, pizza and any other bakd or crispy food comes out just as if was just fres out ov oven. Definitely a great buy.
