I give this product a 5 stars, because my water is fresh tasting. Very easy to install under your sink. Takes about 10 minutes. :o)

plugged washer

I bought the water filter because my well water kept plugging up my washer. My cold water inlet would get so plugged up that the water would just trickle in. It took a long time to fill the washer that way. We installed the under sink filter in just a few minutes, so easy. The filter sits on a bracket up on the wall and is very easy to replace when the 6 months is up.
All my problems are solved, and it was so easy.

I highly recommend home installation of a filter like Filtrete especially when you have your own well-system. I have more peace of mind knowing that this products provides protection for my family and our bodies are not acting as the filter. Thank you.

I purchased this to improve the taste of the hard water from my tap. I love the quality and taste of my water now.....I wouldn't drink it before without flavoring or adding lemon slices. My filter also helps to keep the calcium deposits off the glasses we use regularly. The price is a great value for a family of 5. (I just need to remind myself to change the filter every 3-4 months.)

That says it all. It is a great filter for under sink. Took no time to install and few seconds to change every 6 months .Dont even want to turn off the water.
