Exceeded my expectations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own several Samsung products so I had high expectations for this laptop. Upon arrival, I was impressed with how lightweight it is. I also liked that it included everything that I would need to work from anywhere. The main thing I love about the Galaxy Book S is the screen resolution. Its screen produces a crisp and beautiful image. Which makes not only working but streaming movies and videos great! I also love its size, it fits perfectly in my shoulder bag and because of its weight I can carry it for long periods of time. Another great thing about it is how fast it boots. And it handled everything I did on it nicely. This laptop has a capacity of 256 / 512GB SSD, two USB-C ports, and a headphones jack. The keyboard offers a great experience with its smooth shallow keystroke. Something else that I really liked about it is that its quiet. Thanks to its ARM chip that is energy efficient this laptop doesn't need a cooling fan. So even if my little guy is napping right next to me I can work without waking him up. I also can't forget to mention that the trackpad is very responsive, which makes using it amazing! This is definitely a great laptop that will get you through a full day of work plus fun things like watching movies and videos. This is definitely something that I know I will recommend to anyone looking for a lightweight and powerful laptop. Because it's from Samsung I am not surprised that it not only met my expectations it exceeded them.

Excellent Samsung Book S

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Samsung Book S is beyond my expectations for its optimum performance and high capabilities. It is fully compatible to all of my Samsung devices which makes my tasks easier to conduct. I love using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter among other Apps and this Book just makes everything easier to do. I also have online paperwork that I complete due to my job requirements and this Book totally rocks as it allows me to open and close apps quickly and efficiently. The memory and function is amazing. I totally recommend this product to anyone looking for high function, a sleek bold look, beautiful touch screen display, awesome memory, high performance and amazing overall capabilities. You will be amazed of everything Samsung Book S can do to make your life easier.

Galaxy Book S will replace your tablets and laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing you will notice about the Galaxy Book S is its build quality. The screen is backed by what feels like a sturdy aluminum shell. The keyboard has a great tactile feel to it, and the display is clear and sharp. The power button in the top right of the keyboard doubles as a fingerprint reader. When folded up the device is less than 1/2 in thick and the aluminum top makes it durable. It weighs just enough to let you know it is made of quality materials but not enough to weigh you down.
I have been using this thing at work, at home, and everywhere in between. Battery life so far has been great and since it charges via USB-C, you can plug it into your car’s charger on a road trip and have never ending juice! For such a small tablet/laptop it has outstanding sound. A headphone jack and Bluetooth functionality make watching movies or other content on the go super easy. The Windows operating system is snappy and familiar as it works essentially the same as your PC.
My Galaxy Book S has been seeing the most use as the perfect distance education device. All three of the kids have been doing school via different distance learning mediums. The touch screen makes it easy and intuitive for our youngest to use and the device is powerful enough to handle all the apps/software the older kids use. The 720P camera, headphone connection, and Bluetooth make Zoom meetings for school a breeze. The ability to add a Bluetooth mouse when you are deskbound helps with games and other entertainment functions. My two older kids play Roblox on this thing all the time!
I have owned several Samsung tablets over the years, and still own two older ones. I also own two laptops. I find myself and the kids preferring the Galaxy Book S over all the other devices due mostly to its versatility and sheer convenience. You can use it anywhere for almost anything. It has replaced at least three of my other devices.
I will be purchasing a second Galaxy Book S so we don’t have to split time with just this one. If you are considering a tablet or phablet, or smaller laptop. Give this thing a look, it is worth your time.

Keyboard acting funny after a month

bought this laptop for my wife after looking specs and everything looks good especially it was very light to use. after a month use, suddenly half of the keyboard stopped working. i hope samsung will figure it out and fix the problem so that she can start using immediately.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sleek and smooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Book S is sleek, light as feather and incredibly smooth. I was quite impressed with the battery life and it was one of the first things that I tested out. I watched a full movie and the battery barely budged. I then watched two more movies and used about a quarter of my battery. Thats phenomenal. I like that it charges with the same USB C cord that my phones uses and you can add up to 1TB of memory. I currently have a Samsung phone and I can access all my movies, photos and files between the two devices. The Galaxy Book S is so light that its going to be my go to travel device. Perfect for work and school

Excellent Device with an outstanding battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Book S is a slim and ultra lightweight device with an outstanding battery life due to its use of a Qualcomm processor. This processor allows for a fan less light weight devices that can last all day on a n and charge. The full screen LCD , full keyboard and clam shell design make this device easy to carry and travels well. The addition of a touch screen and headphone jack is convenient for entertainment and web browsing social media. This is a great multi functional laptop ready to handle most everyday tasks.
Because this review is an ARM based platform, there is a potential that some older applications might not run. I have found minimal issues with drivers and have an excited to report most applications especially web based run without any issue at all.

New Generation of Tech!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best description I can give for this device is how I am using it currently. It is a laptop with a quality responsive touchscreen that I am leaving a review on. I am in a hotel room, and I did not have to pay for wifi because this is the first laptop that connects to a cellphone tower. I am currently connected to Verizon's 4g LTE network leaving a review on my laptop. It is sensational. Programs run quick, the internet is fast, and videos are easily streamed in high quality. On top of it all, the battery lasts! I can use it for a solid 12 hours before even thinking about charging it.
The keyboard is easy to maneuver, a bit different than typing on a desktop computer but easy to get used to.
The galaxy book came with two adapters for the ports to connect usb devices or hdmi. The touchpad is highly reponsive as well.
Overall, This computer is serving the exact purpose I bought it for which is traveling light and being able to perform work. I love it and am very happy with my purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Galaxy Book S is Samsung's most impressive laptop. The Galaxy Book S is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8cx chip. This is a chip manufactured on a 7nm process. Samsung says its CPU performance is 40% stronger, graphics performance is up 80%, and the memory bandwidth is higher than the Galaxy Book 2. Because the ARM chip is energy efficient, the machine does not need a cooling fan so it is thinner, no noise and especially longer battery life. Samsung Book S is very light it's only 0,96 kg. However, unlike most ultrabooks today, the Galaxy Book S has a metal frame that is still very strong and sturdy. Galaxy Book S's keyboard has a shallow key stroke, but still gives a good typing experience. The trackpad is smooth and responsive.
