Easy to set up and love that I can pair more than one together, which makes it great for the living room. I have them in the 2 lamps, the sound is good and I like having the remote to control music and lights!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know how Oprah does a list of her favorite things for the year?? Well this GE LED+ Speaker is definitely on my favorite things list! I use my Kindle in the kitchen a lot to watch shows while I am cooking, canning and cleaning. I use to struggle to hear it over the noise of cooking, water running, dishwasher, etc... but those days are in the past! This bulb automatically connects to my Kindle and plays my shows loud and clear so I can hear it no matter what I am doing! I also use it to jam out to music in my kitchen as well! My husband also loves it and put one in the garage to use while he is out there working. One tiny thing we have found that is slightly annoying is it makes a noise every time you turn the light on. I wish there was a way to stop that, but it's no big deal. I love that it also comes with a remote that can dim the light, as well as control the volume, and even pause my shows! Working in the kitchen is now even more enjoyable for me with this light/speaker combo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LED bulb with speaker is very easy to install and use. I perfect for my lampshade on my nightstand. This is very easy to pair with any smart device that you want it to be connected with. All you have to do is turn on your bluetooth and select GE BR30 Speaker bulb on the list of devices. Once connected, you will hear a beep and voice prompt letting you know that it is already connected. Now you can use the bulb as a speaker in playing music, videos and podcasts that are playing on your phone. I also like that it comes with a remote that allows to control the volume of the speaker and brightness of the bulb. Also note that the bulb speaker will sync automatically with other bulbs with the same kind. You can also control all bulbs of the same kind using the same remote within close range. So you can use all bulbs to create better sound experience. One thing I was disappointed about though and the reason why i took off one star is that I thought that I can change the color of the bulb depending on my mood. I am not sure if I missed it or what, because there's not enough information on the instruction manual that came with it. But it will really be cool if the color of the light can be changed. Other than that, I think this is a great LED bulb and speaker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had a light bulb that had a speaker in it, but let me tell you they are amazing! This light bulb is a floodlight so it is larger and is a flood light. Super easy to setup! I literally screwed the bulb in, found it in my blue tooth, clicked it, the bulb made a noise and it was ready to use. It comes with a remote that allows you to dim the light, turn light off and on, change volume, and change songs. You can sync the bulbs together so they will both play the same music. Super clear sound, we are in love and want more!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly love this light! I am an avid reader and anytime weather permits I like to sit outside to read. This light allows me to read while listening to music or listen to and audio book without headphones while sitting in the yard. The light and sound are both controlled by the remote, which another great feature!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't say enough about how easy and awesome this bulb is. It was so easy to set up and the volume is loud enough for any room. I used this in my bathroom and replaced one of my vanity lights with it. It says connected pretty much as soon as you turn the light on, which is a bright light, which surprised me. I used my smartphone and a music app to play music. The remote that comes with it is a nice touch, and easily skips songs, turns volume up and down and disconnects easily at the push of a button. The bulb is supposed to last something like 35000 hours.
When you have more than 1 bulb, you can sync them all together and they will play. I had no issues with this product and am looking to purchase more for other rooms of my house. For now I just take them out of the socket and put them where I want them to be.
I tried to figure out if it could be used with a voice assistant device, but I wasn't sure if it could and couldn't figure it out. I'm no techy person, but I'm sure someone will be able to use it that way.

A great addition to my basement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit, when I first received the GE LED+ Speaker Soft White 65W Replacement LED Indoor Floodlight BR30, I wasn't sure if I had a need for it. I looked around my house for bulbs that needed replacing, and I decided to put this one in my basement right over my washer and dryer. The set up was easy - just link your Bluetooth on your phone to the light with pretty much just the selection of a button. Set up took a matter of seconds. I was listening to an audiobook at the time, so I played it through the light, and the sound was great. No worries about having to carry my phone or laptop from spot to spot - the sound carried through my basement. It's nice to listen to something as I do my chores, so I feel like I'm multitasking. I've found myself cleaning up my basement more the last week, since I now have some sound down there. This light was an unexpected improvement to my daily routine.
