Great for indoors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been such a life saver! My girls have a garden outside but with the winter it hasn't been easy saving. We moved a little into the house and the light buld has been a huge help on that part. Not having to worry about the plants outside and covering them when there is a cold front. Never heard of something like this before but I do plan on getting more very soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want fresh herbs in the winter, the GE Grow Light LED with Balanced Light Spectrum for Seeds and Greens is a great option. I'm sure it'll be great to start plants in the spring/summer, too, but you don't have to wait for then! I like to get a bunch of herb plants (basil, parsley, mint, etc.) started inside so I can enjoy them all seasons. Since the GE's Grow Light uses a balanced spectrum with a red/blue ratio, it's like you're using the best practices of professional growers at home. The balanced spectrum allows not only chlorophyll but also other plant pigments to optimize their light harvesting. This light is also more natural to the human eye than typical grow lights, so you can spot pests or discolorations to help keep your plants healthy.

Great grow light for seed starting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I are avid gardeners, growing our own veggies and herbs for personal use. Being that it is winter season, we have a small indoor grow space in our home and always have the need for great lighting to start our seeds germination and keeping our starts going great until it’s time to plant outside. No real installation is needed. I simply screwed the grow light bulb into a regular lamp that we use and let it do it’s job. This 9 watt balanced spectrum LED bulb has done a great job in my opinion and will buy more as we expand our indoor grow space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this light for my indoor plants that sit on my kitchen counter. The way my kitchen is set up it doesn't get much light especially for plants. Between work and taking care of kids with my wife,sometimes we would not get the time or forget to take our plants out to get some sunlight and they don't get the sunlight they need in Winter opposed to the other seasons. This light is super bright and great for my plants. I don't have to move them or worry about forgetting to move them. The plants seem to be thriving better than they were really! I love this light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like to keep plants on my desk to help boost my mood while I work. Unfortunately, there's not a lot of sunlight in that area and it was impossible for any of my plants to thrive. I got this Grow Light from GE and my plants have been doing so much better! I have the bulb hanging from a pendant light over my desk. The nice white color isn't harsh on my eyes and I actually enjoy using it while I work. I just keep the light on while I'm working (about seven hours a day) and it's really worked wonders for my plants. They're not only healthier, but growing nicely.

Brilliant Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a brilliantly designed floodlight. It can turn any existing light socket into a motion detector without any extra wiring. All you have to do is screw in the bulb and there you have it, the motion detector is build into the lamp.

features needed for better aesthetics

I look to have a grow spot on full whack during the day for the health & well being of my interior foliage. However, I need that same bulb the be dimmable for the evening hours. I can't find that with any of these products.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LED bulb with speaker is very easy to install and use. I perfect for my lampshade on my nightstand. This is very easy to pair with any smart device that you want it to be connected with. All you have to do is turn on your bluetooth and select GE BR30 Speaker bulb on the list of devices. Once connected, you will hear a beep and voice prompt letting you know that it is already connected. Now you can use the bulb as a speaker in playing music, videos and podcasts that are playing on your phone. I also like that it comes with a remote that allows to control the volume of the speaker and brightness of the bulb. Also note that the bulb speaker will sync automatically with other bulbs with the same kind. You can also control all bulbs of the same kind using the same remote within close range. So you can use all bulbs to create better sound experience. One thing I was disappointed about though and the reason why i took off one star is that I thought that I can change the color of the bulb depending on my mood. I am not sure if I missed it or what, because there's not enough information on the instruction manual that came with it. But it will really be cool if the color of the light can be changed. Other than that, I think this is a great LED bulb and speaker!
