I bought this laptop to replace my 9 year old Envy laptop and am so happy with my purchase. I was able to make upgrades to the memory, keyboard, & networking while staying on budget. The laptop is very fast, I am able to play games like the Sims 3, Sims 4 & Cities Skylines that usually require high specs on it without any lag. When I took it out of the packaging I was immediately impressed by how lightweight and thin it is. The keyboard is "chiclet style" so it feels much more spacious and is easier to clean since the keys come out of the laptop's body rather than a tray. The touch screen is very responsive. The networking upgrade is noticeable, I get full connectivity when I'm far away from my router. I would recommend this laptop, it is great for everyday use. I use it to work from home, gaming and school.

The clickpad/trackpad rattled within its casing when only moving the pointer, as if being clicked. Far too annoying and distracting to enjoy use. HP Tech Support confirmed it's a defect. In addition there was some type of software bug with the clickpad driver. Settings/options for clickpad function were minimal, did not include reverse scroll, which also bummed me out while using. Other than that the computer seemed fine, I was bummed to return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have only had the PC for 3 weeks and it has performed excellently. My only complaint as a Senior Adult is the smallness of the markings on the keys like the question mark, etc.

I have had this laptop for a month now. It’s my first time using an AMD processor. It starts right up and powers down quickly. I bought this for use with my Silhouette Cameo 3 and for homeschooling. It handles the Silhouette design software without any issues and connects to my cameo wirelessly and operates the cutting machine perfectly. It also handles all of my homeschooling needs. This is the best laptop I have ever owned. It replaces my 11 year old HP Pavilion entertainment laptop that amazing was still running but barely. I am so glad I went ahead and purchased this amazing laptop. I fully read through the reviews before hand and after researching processors decided despite the bad reviews that this was the right choice and I am very please with it.
