Beautiful and Well-made

I needed to replace the Reverware set I had been using for 45 years. The set is still functional, but over time it wasn't flat enough for our new cooktop.
Looking at many reviews of cookware, tramontina was the brand that had the highest ratings. This set met my needs.
I was impressed with quick shipping and the pans which were well packed. The set is just beautiful. I love cooking with them
If you have always used non-stick cookware, there are some things you need to know. First, there is no non-stick that is healthy. Sorry about it, but that non-stick chemical leaches into your food. So this stainless is much healthier. Also, the non-stick coating gradually peals off and you have to throw out the pan. Not the case with this set. Second, food can stick. But you can minimize this, and if you soak your pot it will clean up. Third, I have seen complaints that the inside colors. That is just the nature of the material and does not affect its potential.
There are not many things you buy that will last for 40 years, but I have no doubt that this set will.

These pots and pans are wonderful to cook with. I haven't had any issue with food sticking, but I have always cooked with adequate oil. They are easy to clean. I have had some discoloration. I don't know what I did to cause this, but my goal is to have great cookware not decorative pots and pans. The small pot came chipped. I understand that things happen during manufacturing. I contacted them and they sent me a new small pot that arrived in about 24 hours. I'm very happy with my purchase. It is great that they go from the stove top to the oven. I'm so happy with them that we have gone ahead and added another piece to our set. Well worth it!!

I love this set, I received it as a housewarming gift and I’ve been having a blast cooking on it. The handles stay cool which is important for me. It’s true that it conducts heat much more efficiently than cast iron or Teflon, so I don’t need to use heat higher than 3-4 on my stove to achieve a super high heat. The lowest setting is almost not low enough, and I have to move it off the heat. It cleans up super nicely, and I’ll throw it in the dishwasher if I want it to be super shiny. I’m thinking of investing in Barkeeper’s Friend to make that easier.
