I was nervous about cooking in stainless since I have always only cooked in crappy non-stick all my life. But good heat retention, using oils and the correct heat - everything has been great. The pans are easier to clean than my old terrible non-stick cookware. I've even accidentally left food in the pans too long and they still cleaned up easily. Everything I've cooked in them has come out wonderfully; meats, eggs, pasta dishes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far I am enjoying cooking with my new cookware. Was a little concerned about ease of cleaning but so far so good. All the sizes are good and work well with the food I prepare. I just wish there was a smaller saucepan.

I am very pleased with the Tri-Ply Clad. When I ordered the pans, my only concern was the pan handles. How could they not become too hot to handle? I even planned on buying sleeves to fit on them. I have been pleasantly surprised that the handles work well as they are. The pans conduct heat well on my new induction stove and they wash up well. I am very pleased.

Appearance and quality are good but hard to clean

Appearance and quality are good. I came from using non-stick cookware and using this cookware is quite different. Can't over cook food or it will stick and burn on the stainless and then it takes quite an effort to clean.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Pans Out There!

I bought these pans almost 17 years ago. They are awesome, cook great everytime AND I wouldn't use any other type of pan. Any problems with cooking or cleaning is an user issue and not the pans.

Beautiful and Well-made

I needed to replace the Reverware set I had been using for 45 years. The set is still functional, but over time it wasn't flat enough for our new cooktop.
Looking at many reviews of cookware, tramontina was the brand that had the highest ratings. This set met my needs.
I was impressed with quick shipping and the pans which were well packed. The set is just beautiful. I love cooking with them
If you have always used non-stick cookware, there are some things you need to know. First, there is no non-stick that is healthy. Sorry about it, but that non-stick chemical leaches into your food. So this stainless is much healthier. Also, the non-stick coating gradually peals off and you have to throw out the pan. Not the case with this set. Second, food can stick. But you can minimize this, and if you soak your pot it will clean up. Third, I have seen complaints that the inside colors. That is just the nature of the material and does not affect its potential.
There are not many things you buy that will last for 40 years, but I have no doubt that this set will.
