I use this f or smoothies and it works great. I did try chopping walnuts for a recipe, and it made mush. Wouldn’t recommend it for a chopping nuts

I am not quite happy with the product. Whenever am operating the blender/ chopper it gives out a burnt rubber smell from the base of the jar. I was hoping it will go away after few uses, but thats not the case. I will not recommend this blender to anyone.

This actually my second little Cusinart blender. The first one lasted 5 years and I used it every day. I liked it so much that I purchased another one to replace the first. It’s small and fits nicely on my counter. It works great for daily protein shakes for both my husband and me.

I have always trusted the Cuisinart name so was expecting the same high quality when I purchased this blender. I purposely wanted to replace a Magic Bullet. I was very disappointed not just with the poor performance - chopped soft fruits with juice; but it is louder than a lawnmower and I am not exaggerating. I returned it. Another great company who has apparently sold out to go cheap.

AS intended, this blender has increased my veggie intake. Two concerns are that it's incredibly noisy and always smells as though something is burning.

I had to buy a third one as the first two each lasted less than 2 years each, being used just once a day for a smoothie.
