After about 15-20 uses, it's already broken. Very poor quality, would always overheat and shut down. I'm glad it was a recognition gift from work although I could've chosen something else instead and probably have gotten something else that would have lasted longer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cusinart, always a seller of good products, this one doesn't stand out. Seems weak and struggles with frozen fruit and ice. Rattles a great deal when blending for a smoothie. Will use it for mixing less hard materials.

Excellent small blender. This one is by far the best one I've had over the years. It chops ice very small - you're not left with chunks of ice in your smoothie . Very smooth.
