I was excited when I purchased my coffee maker I have had Cuisinart coffee makers and I've had no problems everything's been great. But when I bought this one and got it home I found some very disturbing very disturbing things about it that I did not like. When you make up fresh pot of coffee and you go to change the grounds when you lift the lid up all that kind of insulation and witness that's on the lid drips down the back of the coffee maker and onto the counter and unfortunately my plug is right there also so I have had to put a paper towel down to make sure the water is absorbed before it gets to plug I have to do this every time because the paper towel gets soaked. For how many cups I poured I had to look in this tiny little hole that I had to pour water in which is kind of hard to do because the hole is so small.

The coffee pot was easy to program and I love the red color. It is very handy to have the ability to brew only a few cups of coffee. My only complaint is the time isn't lit, but that is a small thing.

This was ordered to replace the same exact coffee maker that died when grounds got into the water reservoir. The new one has tried to do the same thing.

At first, I bought a cheaper coffee maker for a second home not wanting to Save some money and after several attempts, this cheaper coffee maker could not brew a decent cup of coffee. I took it back and bought the Cuisinart 12 C brew central. From that day forward, each pot and cup of coffee was delicious. Amazing. Wondeful. Being a coffee snob, I make sure the beans are fresh and grind my beans each day. No comparison between the two coffee maker. Cuisinart brewed amazing coffee every time. Worth the money!

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I use to buy a cheap coffee pot every year and a half or so and I just got sick of dealing with the issues. I decided to look into hopefully a more reliable maker. I was going to buy a Bunn, had one many years ago but the reviews on the Cuisinarts were better and even cost less than Bunn. SO happy I went with Cuisinart. Now I know what a HOT cup of coffee is and there is no comparison to the taste. Easy to use, program and overall a great cup of coffee! It looks good too!

Main reason for my purchasing this was that it is BPA free. Makes good coffee, however, it seems to need more grounds than my previous unit. Also, the water reservoir level is difficult to see without a flashlight.

I purchased this model as the Cuisinart coffee maker I had for the previous seven years totally quit. This model brews the coffee quicker, and after reading the instructions to set the clock and timer, I found it easier than the previous model I had. What is disappointing, is the previous model had an outside gauge with cup measurements and it was very easy to fill. This model does not have an outside gauge but the measurement fill markers (small numbered tabs) are on the inside and extremely difficult to see. Nine times out of ten we make a full pot (12 cups), and I can't imagine if we wanted only half a pot, how difficult it would be and we would probably have to use a step stool and flashlight to see the 6 cup marker.
