I bought this model to replace a well used Cuisinart coffeemaker that had served my wife and me faithfully for several years (and thousands of cups of coffee)! The stainless steel 12 Cup Brew Central is an excellent replacement and looks good on our kitchen counter. It makes a fantastic cup of coffee and we love the programmable feature, as well as the 4 cup option for late afternoons. I love Cuisinart quality and am confident this appliance will serve us as long as, and as well as, our previous model.

Owned it two weeks and it makes great coffee. Set up instructions week confusing which caused a poor start with this coffee maker.
It makes great coffee but programming is still confusing.

I purchased this a month ago to replace a Krups coffee maker I had for over 10 years and served me well. I thought I would try the Cuisinart and I have not been disappointed. Like the ability to use regular coffee filters or the gold tone filter. Easy to program. Good quality.

This is the second one I've purchased in only 3 years.. I love the ease in making coffee and settting it to automatically to go on in the mornings and off after a few hours. However, this is the second one because the first one started leaking out of the bottom of the machine after three years. No way to know if it was going to electrocute someone, cause a fire, or blow up. Obviously, it was no longer covered under the warranty, so I purchased another one because I am filled with hope nothing will happen with this one. Everything I say about it is based on the first few years' experience.

This is my 2nd Cuisiart fully programmable coffee pot. We have the Cuisinart 14 cup dripless stainless in use at a vacation getaway , now the 12 cup dripless in black at home. Love the easy programmable features , the quality , and the sturdiness (without the bulkiness) for every day use.
