Carafe lost all markings after two weeks use. Fill opening is too dim to use without markings or flashlight. Can't trust other workmanship/quality issues, if this simple issue is not right.

I really like this coffee maker. I wanted one that didn't have too many bells and whistles and just brewed great coffee. This has a cone filter, and comes with a reusable one. The 12 cup carafe pours perfectly without spilling a drop. There are three carafe temp choices. The on/off switch is easy to use and the coffee maker beeps when coffee is ready. It's programmable. The only negative thing I have to say is that it's hard to see inside the water tank to know how much water you've filled. I just fill the carafe with how much water I need and pour it into the tank.

I just ordered a 12-cup Cuisinart coffee machine to replace the one that has served me well for almost 20 years. The new one performs more quietly than the previous one which was noisy brewing and issuing clouds of steam, presumably from old age. The new one is certainly quieter and does the same effective job. My only complaint is the lid for the carafe does not fit tightly without some pressure and persistence. I understand this annoyance is shared by other Cuisinart coffee brewer users.

My Cuisinart Coffee Maker is easy to use and always makes a great cup of coffee. The timer is awesome to be able to set the night before. Heating pad keeps the coffee hot after it is brewed.

This is the replacement of the exact same machine we bought (and used daily) in 2017. Our older one was rusted on the bottom: but probably due to letting the carafe sit in coffee - our fault! But this is a simple, and excellent machine!
