This is the third time we've bought this coffeemaker, this time we chose the red color just for fun. It makes coffee as good as or better than any mainstream coffee pot that we've tasted, and the features are excellent, such as the carafe temperature preference and the selectable time for how long the pot will keep the coffee hot. We use the timer for those awful days when you have to wake up so early that you need coffee before you can make coffee. We hope to get long use out of this one, it's performing like a champ and making delicious brew.

I bought the very same model as the one I've had for years. A new feature is small beeps when it has finished brewing - the first couple of days I'm walking all over the house trying to figure out where those beeps were coming from.
