I bought this for the color. It’s a beautiful metals red that matches my microwave, toaster, coffee canister and other things in my kitchen, however, I have it only two stars because it is impossible to read the clock (it doesn’t have any light behind it and doesn’t illuminate ). Also you can’t read any of the options such as brew, auto on or off, temperature control such as low, medium, high, or program. It is not only written so tiny but the writing is written in black which is impossible to see on the red color. If it was written in white you MIGHT be able to make out what’s there. I have to literally use a flashlight to see my options. It makes average tasting coffee but very frustrating to have to use a flashlight to select my options or see the time on the clock. However it is a beautiful metallic red color but very user unfriendly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very simplistic and easy to brew. We loved the fact that we can have a filter in the water which has improved the taste. The only complaint I have is that the writing on the front controls are hard to read (small in size and blend in with the red colored background). Wish the lettering was better to see or lit up. Otherwise, would recommend to others!

You can't turn the alarm off for when it is done. Who would design a machine made to operate at 5 AM where you can't turn an alarm off that wakes the family? Returned it.

From very first use it makes a strange clicking sound when brewing and after brewing. It almost sounds like there’s a short. We do not feel it’s safe to keep using it.

I have not had a decent cup of coffee since I bought this thing. I have to guess how much water I put in it, since I am too short to see the guide inside the water well. I loved the coffee maker that has the water guide on the outside of the coffee maker.

I purchased the unit around Dec 17 (online) - after 3 days noticed the clock gained 15 min / hour so did everything asked to get a replacement. Currently Jan 10, 2022 and NO REPLACEMENT. Unit makes great coffee, easy to program and use. Past units reliable ... not this one!!!

Carafe lost all markings after two weeks use. Fill opening is too dim to use without markings or flashlight. Can't trust other workmanship/quality issues, if this simple issue is not right.
