I actually did purchase the coffeemaker a month ago. The coffee is delicious and stays hot, you can adjust the warmer plate. The carafe pours perfectly with no spilling, a great design on the spout and cap.
I do have a problem with the opening for the adding the water. It is not large enough and I really would have appreciated a clear gage as it is difficult to see inside, especially when making another half pot to add to the original brewing,

I am now on my third or fourth of this model of coffee maker and keep coming back. It brews very consistent coffee and is a snap to prepare. The only caveat is that the pot MUST be placed in the receptacle properly else the pause feature will cause an overflow. I hope Cuisinart makes this product forever.

Have never purchased a really quality coffee maker before. This coffee maker was my first expensive one. Well worth the money. Brews quickly. Impressed that I never have coffee grounds in my cup as before with a cheap coffee maker. Very happy with this brand. This is the third brew central coffeemaker that I have purchased. These units have lasted from 6 to 7 years each. The units were used daily. Only had to run the cleaning cycle about once a year. Always produced a good cup of coffee.
