Coffee is NOT NEARLY as good as the 14 cup pot we had (also a Cuisinart). That one lasted several years. Loved it, but not so sure about this one.

I got this as a gift for Christmas from my hubby. The only thing I don’t like about when you take the fliter compartment apart to clean it’s hard to put back in and if you don’t get it right it won’t shut right. Other than that, it’s a great coffee maker.

I purchased This about 6 weeks ago. I love the features and the ease of use. However, there are 2 things I don't really like. The display does not light up when programming and it is a bit small. Plus the coffee pot itself does not have a flip top. You need to pry the lid off. But it is all workable. It does make great coffee and I love the permanent basket. So much easier than the paper filters. Cleans up well.
