I just purchased my second Cuisinart. I considered other brands, but decided to purchase the same one again. It makes great coffee. It has a carbon filter, is easy to program and has a feature to brew 1-4 cups. I love the streamlined design (doesn't take up precious counter space). I have a separate coffee bean grinder, and prefer not having it attached to my brewer. If it works, stick with it.

I bought this just before Christmas, I love it. I set it in the evening for our morning coffee and it's ready when we get up, it's great. I love all the features, especially the "auto clean" it actually tells you WHEN TO CLEAN it!

After many years of great service, our Brew Central finally died.So we bought another Cuisinart Brew Central 12 cup. With the programmable auto start, it saved us time not having to wait to brew. It was ready!! It stayed on and hot for 2 hours after brewing. The heater plate has an adjustable range for how hot you want kept. It was easy to fill the reservoir with water using the carafe. We've been using it for a couple of weeks and still love it.
