One disappointingy need is that digital time display cannot be lighted!

I am on my second Cuisinart coffee pot. My first one lasted for 10 years. It makes great coffee. The only thing I don't like are the plastic parts -- would be nice if the water reservoir and basket were stainless. Would also like a glass or stainless pot cover.

I bought my first Brew Centra 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker about 5 years ago in black. I loved it so much I just gave it to my nephews and bought this new one in silver. It makes the best coffee at home compared to any other coffee maker I've tried. It is easy to program and use. To hold up to daily use for 5 years with no problems speaks of the quality. That was the second reason I decided to replace it with the same model. Along with making great tasting coffee.

This is our second time to purchase this coffee maker. The first was about 9 years ago, just before we sold our home in CA they started to fail. . .so when we moved we bought 2 more. I drink decaf so we need 2 coffee makers. They have not disappointed. Great coffee maker.
