We had had this pots a few years ago, but decided to go to K cups...'cause it was easier. Well, as faith would have the the K coffee makers died, and we did some math! We were spending a pile on coffee. So we bought this Cuisinart pot...saved money, and enjoyed much better coffee! This is a straight forward, not fancy machine that makes really good coffee!

When this stopped working a few years later, I did not hesitate to buy another one just like it.
