My first Cuisnart 12 cup coffee maker was given to me by a friend who wanted to up-grade her coffee maker. When this stopped working a few years later, I did not hesitate to buy another one just like it. It has a sleek design that fits into my kitchen decor and makes good quality coffee in a timely manner. I will probably buy the same machine again when this one gives out.

This is my second Cuisinart Coffee Maker and it does a very nice job. Yes, if I have to replace it I would buy again. But, there is one thing that I am not fond of and that is the controls.
In the early morning, my kitchen has reduced lighting. With the shiny surface, the lettering around the controls is very hard to read. I frequently use a flashlight but that glares on the shiny surface and does not work well. The two control knobs are also hard to see since they only have a small white line which is very hard to distinguish in reduced lighting.
