Had this model coffee maker for years and loved it and its design. Traded for a Nespresso pod machine about 5 years ago thinking I was saving money on coffee. Nespresso coffee was never as good as the Cuisinart. Decided to purchase another Cuisinart with the design I still admired. My coffee is better and I’m extremely happy to come back.

DCC-1200 don't buy

this is the second model DCC-1200 we purchased only because of the brand and ease of use...however the toggle on off switch doesn't seem to hold up after use..it will either shut off premature or not turn on at all ..I don't understand why it uses a toggle swith to operate..I am dissapointeed in the performance of this model and certainly to not reccomend this particular product..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my third purchase of a Cuisinart Coffee maker. I have owned previous generations of the same 12 cup machine and have gotten a decade plus of use out of each. The machine makes excellent coffee and all of the features work as intended. Its color and styling are also a good match with my other appliances. Overall it is a great product that simply works!
