This is my second 12 cup unit - same as my first (on purpose)! The first one was still working well and I've had it so long I can't remember when my daughter gave it to me as a Christmas gift! I thought it was time for a new one because of long term use to give my old one a rest! I have not been disappointed! The quality and performance continues to provide great value for the dollar! I went through a lot of coffee makers before discovering my Cuisinart!

This 12-cup Cuisinart coffee maker replaced my previous (very used) 14-cup Cuisinart coffee maker. It fits my counter better and of course, works just as great. My only issue is it doesn’t have the 3-tone beep when it finishes brewing.

Purchased to replace the exact same model that served us well for approximately 15 years. The durability and dependability were biggest reasons to buy this model. Also liked the style, simple and elegant. The stainless and black color matches our kitchen appliances. Kept the old coffee maker's glass carafe, filter basket and holder plus the water filter holder...free spare parts if needed in the future.

Our previous Cuisinart coffee maker no longer worked because the on/off toggle switch stopped working. Cuisinart would do well to design this coffee maker with a push button on/off instead of a retro toggle.
