Stayed in a short-term rental and they had this coffeemaker. I fell in love immediately! Makes perfect coffee and it stays super hot and fresh tasting for hours after brewing. The only complaint I have is that once you lift the top of the coffeemaker after brewing to take the filter/grounds out, the excess water from the steam leaks out the back from the cover. A real pain and an annoying flaw that Cuisinart should really look into and fix. But overall, great coffeemaker!

Makes great coffee, but wish there was a glass piece down the side so you can see how much water is in it. Also would be great if they could make one that you can fill the water with 10 cups and set it to only make one cup and just hold the rest of the water.

Seems sturdy. Makes decent coffee. But if you don’t press the basket firmly into its spot, your coffee will overflow. More seriously, as has been noted, the markings inside the water chamber are very difficult to see even if you are standing right over the machine. The programming function works fine, but the clock isn’t bright enough to see easily, especially the am/pm. Easy to make a mistake.

Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to difficulty in removing the filter basket for cleaning purposes. Instruction booklet does not show basket picture nor does it give any special instructions on how to remove it. I've had this coffeemaker for a little over 6 weeks and have yet been able to clean basket. All other cleaning instructions are provided including the self-cleaning setting. [Previous model which I owned for 8 years was easy to clean both basket and coffeemaker. Very disappointing both instruction booklet and removal of filter basket.]
