This is my 2nd Cuisinart Coffeemaker and it's the same model as the 1st one I owned. The 1st one had a hose start leaking after 8 years of ownership. Rather than repairing the leaky hose (hot water side) I opted for a brand new one. Having a coffee maker last for 8 years is pretty extraordinary in this day and age

When the water reservoir in our previous Cuisinart DCC-1200 Programmable Coffeemaker began to leak after 13 years of daily service, we did not hesitate to buy the same brand and model. It is not perfect, but close enough. Makes great coffee every time, whether 4 cups for my wife and me for our breakfast, or 12 cups for dinner guests. We did learn from the first one we bought not to put the carafe in the dishwasher, as the heat breaks the seal between the glass and the plastic rim/handle, resulting in a small but annoying leak as you pour your coffee. Also, I'll have to admit that I no longer hear high frequencies very well, so I seldom hear the signal that the coffee is ready, but fortunately my wife does. Other than that, it is a perfect coffeemaker.
