While the coffee this brews is excellent, it’s very difficult to fill with water or to see the water lines in the fill area. That definitely needs to be improved.

Bought this when emergency of broken previous coffee maker arose. I do not use all of its features as I am only one person and not opposed to manually preparing a pot of coffee for the day or longer. Most difficult part for me was unpacking it, getting ready to use for the first time, and acquiring the paper filters it uses. I have always been a fan of the gold filter that is included but find it more challenging to clean than simply tossing the used paper filter into the trash. In another lifetime, I used to empty the used grounds down the kitchen sink in the hope that the garbage disposal would take care of that for me. Learned the hard way that that was a very bad idea when kitchen drain pipes became clogged and had to be replaced by plumber at great expense and inconvenience.

I'm very happy with my Cuisinart coffee maker. I have bought this same coffee maker for my son as a gift and he loves it! My 10 year old Cuisinart coffee maker, after constant use finally needed to be replaced so I ordered a new one, which I'm very happy with this model.

Very nice pot. This one was purchased as a replacement of the same model we had for a few yrs. I give this pot a 4 ratung bwcause the top of the carafe leaks a bit if you dont squeeze it really hard.
