Makes great coffee and it stays hotter than my last model, which was the CDD 2650 series. My only issue with the DCC-1200 series is the water reservoir. You cannot see how much water there is in there from the exterior of the unit. I have to make sure my glasses are on and that I am under a bright light. This is annoying.

This the third on we have purchased. They last us about 8-10 years. We love the coffee it makes and it’s reliable. Our daughter has the same kind and she’s had 2 in 18 years. We both will not buy anything else we love it so much.
