Bought this a month ago to replace an identical one that was 5+ years old and died when it's heater insulation failed. Obviously we we're happy with it because we definitely wanted the same make/model again. It is easy to fill and clean and has all the features we could want (clock, timed start, adjustable warming temperature, small or large quantity brew, water filter, etc.). It gets daily use and we're happy with it. The only adverse remark I have is that it was not designed to be disassembled and repaired ( I tried diligently) but that should not dissuade anyone who is a normal consumer ( and not a technical geek like me).

I love the look and operation of my coffeemaker. Our one complaint is that the lid of the carafe is very difficult to remove. I have broken my thumbnail several times when I push up from the end near the handle, and if I hold the sides and pull up it is hard to do!

This is my second Cuisinart Brew Central. The first I had for close for 10+ years and it died one morning this past summer. I looked around at other options but kept coming back to this one. It has just what I want; programable, 1-4 cups, auto off etc. Not too many options, just what is needed but more importantly a good cup of coffee!
