This coffee maker is number three (3) , they seem to last about two years before a problem arises. All the problems that I have had seems to be the same, the unit shuts off when ever it wants. It is suppose to shut off in two hours for safety but it does it whenever it wants. Other than that problem we like the unit

This is the third purchase of this coffee pot. We had one for several years and when it finally died we replaced it with the same model. they are perfect. We are now working part time in another city and have an apartment there, also. I tried to save some money and bought another cheaper coffee pot for the apartment. We hated it! We now have our third pot at our apartment and will never buy another type of coffee pot!

This is my second purchase of a brew central model. My first one lasted over ten Years! I used it daily, unheard of for a coffeemaker to last that long. They improved this one a bit with a larger water opening which I love.
