Love the Pocket Handles!

This refrigerator has "Pocket Handles", not the handles that stick way out into your Kitchen area. It's great for smaller kitchens and still has large open space inside. Love the lighting inside the refrigerator. It not only illuminates the whole inside but also the crisper drawers and the large drawer located under both of the crisper drawers (the Pantry Drawer). The crisper drawers are very large, giving lots of room for fruits and vegetables. The freezer drawer is very large and laid out very efficiently. There is also a soft Alarm that goes off when the doors are not closed tightly. The only disappointment I have with the refrigerator is the design and material of the pantry drawer. The refrigerator that we replaced had the same type of pantry drawer, and it was made of very durable plastic and moved very smoothly. Meats and cheeses were stored in it, and being a family of 8, the drawer got used a lot! It never broke. The pantry drawer in this refrigerator is kind of flimsy, and you need to make sure you hold onto both sides while pushing it back into the refrigerator in order to keep it on the track. I'm seriously thinking of ordering a new pantry drawer just to have it on hand.
That is the only reason I gave it 4 Stars and not 5 Stars. Otherwise, I really like the refrigerator!

Lots of room

We built a house and chose this refrigerator because several of the models we had previously chosen with similar features were no longer being manufactured. Refrigerator has a lot of room especially in the doors. The very bottom crisper drawer is full width and is difficult to open and close. The ice maker is fantastic - we always have ample ice. The visibility in refrigerator is good and shelving is adequate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

After 2 1/2 years it broke!

I am super disappointed in this fridge and that it has a one year warranty. I have owned fridges that lasted 24 years and 10 years and they both are still running. I am now not a fan of the Haier brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Water Filter and Lack of Space

This replaced my Sears refrigerator. At first, I like it very much. But after some use I found that the vegetable bins were a lot smaller than the Sears. Love my vegetables, so this was very disappointing. Also, limited options for shelf spacing and door shelves. If the increments between each were smaller and more were offered then the options would be better. The meat tray is out of site so food in this bin gets overlooked.
Water dispenser should have a button under the tube instead of on top. Having to use two hands while keeping the door open to get a glass of water is too cumbersome. Much easier to get water from the faucet.
Biggest draw back is the filter! You MUST by XWFE filters. If you buy the XWF filter (without the "E") the refrigerator will STOP dispensing water. Filter is not cheep and I don't like to be forced into buying anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GREAT FRIDGE!

Delivered yesterday so this is an early review. I love that the handles are fingerprint resistant. The water dispenser is hard to use otherwise I would give a five star rating.

Nice fridge

We have had it for a couple of weeks and so far it's great nothing really to complain about maybe the meat cheese drawer could be two pieces so you don't have to open both doors and loose cool air love the I've maker and bin so easy to get out ice all drawers could be deeper hard to get head of lettuce in crisper but love ir so far we will see how long it lasts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Looking Refrigerator

I love this refrigerator. When I open the doors, the color contrast is beautiful. The bins have a nice blue tint on them that makes the inside look great. It fit perfectly where I wanted it. The black side panels make the stainless steel front look very nice. It matches the rest of my black and stainless steal appliances in my kitchen.

Great, simple fridge

The sleek design works well with other brand appliances, and does the same (if not better) job as other more expensive brands! We are very happy with this fridge so far. Easy to maintain, keeps water and ice very cold, and plenty of space for food. The water dispenser on the inside is very convenient for those with small kids who like to push dispensers that are on the outside of other fridges!! Only minor complaint is that the pull out drawer sticks more than I would think it should, but this is easily outweighed by the benefits of this great fridge.
