Love it! Went to San

Love it! Went to San Juan islands with my Sony camera 2 lenses, charger. Had camera protected for hiking and room for rain gear binoculars and some essentials! Great job designing. And the weight distribution was excellent.

I love the overall look

I love the overall look and feel of Peter’s 21L cube BUT, and this is a big BUT, the water resistance is non-existent. I was caught in light rain and to my surprise my camera, lens, and clothing was soaked. I am not sure if I got a defective model but I would take the water resistance with a grain of salt.

It is a good and creative idea, the bag was decently executed but could do with some improvements. For example, there is some wasted potential with the two straps that go underneath the bag for aesthetics when it could have been made functional and that actual compartment for the camera itself works but is honestly a little tight and could have done well with single longer divider being slightly changed to bend in a different spot to make it easier to store the camera with lens attached in the bag. Also I have a pretty small camera, nikon d3500, so I can imagine it being real hard to get a larger camera to fit. But honestly, it is not a bad bag and it works well when you need a small travel bag for a day in the city.

The cube was an ingenious

The cube was an ingenious addition to the McKinnon signature set. It fits perfectly in the top of my camera bag and offers just the right amount of room. The way it expands into a daypack is perfect if I do not want to carry all my gear. I can grab the necessities and go.

Does not fit any camera I have or any laptop. It fits my iPad and my lenses but not the body. Really disappointed.

I have been looking for a compact camera bag for a while which this cube pack it the spot. Though there could be great improvements made to become the best compact bag out there. Potential improvements:
1) Find a way to have an external carry for a bottle.
2) Create a front or below straps to carry tripods.
3) The access to either the camera compartment or extended compartment becomes a little confusing considering the zippers are in the same side. So, with positioning the zippers opposite to each other may become helpful.
4) Have a Sling bag strap apart for the Cube Pack too.
5) You could always fuse a Cube Pack with the Sling Pack?????????
6) For the packaging the company should consider some sort of top foam layer so when you open the box you don't accidently rip the protector bag.
7) A separate zipper or magnetic side to expand a few centimeters off the camera compartment. Whichever camera you have could fit perfectly without feeling as if its constraining the effects for space.
8) Consider the dividers to be lower and maybe stretchable.
9) Have fun.
