[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this and unpacked. Took a few to set it up, but easy to use and I really like the wide pour spout. Coffee came out Great! Water reservoir is a little harder than a top lift, but works ok. Takes up a little more space than my old one.

great pot just a little loud

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Hamilton Beach Hamilton Beach 12 cup Grind and Brew ADC and I am really glad I did. I love the built in grinder and the rinse mechanism. However its a ittle loud first thing in the morning when the rest of the household is still in bed asleep. It brews hotter than any other coffee pot I have ever had before. You can't go wrong with this coffee pot. I promise you will not regret purchasing it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a good cup of coffee, and for me that means grinding the beans right before the brew. This coffee maker does that, and with no leftovers as it only grinds as much as you need for that pot. Large capacity but will brew as few as 1-4 cups, relatively easy to clean, timer for automatic brew. My only complaint is removing the sieve for cleaning the first time required strong fingers and a flashlight! Now that I know how to do it we're all good! Bottom line: it makes a fine cup of coffee.

Its compact so doesnt take a lot of space,easy to use and easy to clean. grind your beans make your fresh coffee all in one

Includes the reusable mesh coffee filter too. Love the pause and serve for those days I cannot wait for the whole pot to brew. Programmable so you can set it to brew before you get up. Bold and regular brewing options. Which is perfect in our house, I like regular and my husband likes bold. Brews quickly, and stays hot in the warming plate. Very happy with this coffee maker.

I make coffee every morning so it comes in handy that it has a feature which allows me to program it to automatically brew coffee at a certain time. Definitely recommend getting it.

Easy to use, a bit on the loud side

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this unit allows you to grind your own beans or use pre-ground coffee as you see fit. I also appreciate that it's fairly easy to clean, along with the carafe, there's only four other parts that can/need to be removed to clean -- the basket cover, filter, filter basket and sieve. I did have an issue removing the sieve as it's a pressure latch, made of plastic, and was very hard to remove. I was afraid that I would break it trying to remove it -- as it is I would only remove it only when absolutely necessary (which should not be often if you make sure the grinding chamber is completely dry before using).
Grinding and brewing is done with one press of the button. (I do wish there were an option to only grind so I could grind beans for other uses.) By making sure the grinding chamber and feeder are absolutely dry before grinding I've not have any issues with unground beans or clogging. One con of this coffeemaker is the grinder is very loud -- fortunately it's also very quick so you don't have to listen to it for long.
Be aware though that when they say "cups" they mean a 5oz serving size and not an 8oz cooking unit (I don't know if this is common knowledge among coffee fanatics, but I wasn't sure and it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the instruction manual. I had to look it up on Hamilton Beach's website.) Another thing to note is that while the reservoir holds enough for 12 cups of coffee, the maximum for the grinder is 14 level tablespoons, so depending on how strong you want your coffee you may not be able to brew the maximum number of servings. (Also, after boiling, you do loose a few ounces of water to evaporation. I filled the reservoir up to the 10 cup mark, but the completed brew came to under the 10 cup mark on the carafe, but that's to be expected.)
Another thing to be aware of is the height of the coffeemaker. It's quite tall at about 16.5" but it's also very light for it's size, mainly due to the plastic body.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This this is fantastic! Before this coffee maker, you needed to have two different machines to grind your coffee and then brew it - this does both! Don’t get me wrong, pre ground coffee is amazing but there is something about whole coffee beans being ground and fresh brewed that is even more amazing to taste. Plus, you’re able to experiment more on different flavors and grinds. My only recommendation is that the brewer could be shorter because it doesn’t fit under the counter so I do have to adjust whenever I’m using the coffee maker. Overall, I absolutely recommend this coffee maker if you want to have the option to grind your own beans!
