Variable speed not very powerful

As far as hand blenders go this is okay. However, if you need something powerful, especially for hot liquids you don't want to use a blender for this is not the best tool, and leaves chucks of unprocessed materials. Additionally, there are no adjustable speeds other than varying pressure on the on button, and you cannot blitz without holding the power button down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this constantly since it arrived. I love that the arm detaches and can go in the dishwasher. My previous one was all in one piece and had to be carefully washed by hand. This feels much safer. The variable speed is achieved by how hard you squeeze the button. The blade guard is helpful when using in my cookware. I also use the plastic tumbler a lot as it's tall enough to prevent spills and splashes. This entire package is great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it mainly for blending and pureeing soups. Powerful and does the job in a lot less time than my previous hand blender. Very stylish too! Only issue I have is that the pan guard protector sometimes comes off when using so I tend not to attach it.

Great Quality and Great Product
