mult problems with electronics, hard to keep clean

Within 4 years, the front left burner that is supposed to get hot faster began to over heat and stay over heated for up to an hour after it was turned off. The control panel had to be replaced twice within the first 6 months because the sound broke. This range is also a "bear" to keep looking clean. I have had other smooth top stoves, much cheaper than this one that I had no problem keeping clean, but this one always looks like it has smears and stains, and there are marks on it that just won't come off. The thing I like about it is the double ovens. The oven has worked well throughout.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Range

Always wanted a double oven now we have one going to make the holidays easier with all the cooking.
Day to day cooking the top oven heats up faster so less time in the kitchen. This is our second set of GE appliances the fist lasted 28years that proves quality.
