[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice machine, hard to hold on too. The Smart Tab is a great machine and could be greater. Have an X705F that has been in use for 4 years or so, accidently dropped it and shattered the screen, replaced with the Smart Tab M10FHD PLUS. Works well although slow to start and harder to hold on to. No flip out stand in the back which makes it hard to hold on too. Charging station is great if you want the unit stationary. Can be slow to respond to screen taps, and I have big hands. Can't find a protective case on Lenovo for it, that would help.

The tablet itself is great. When matched with the Alexa docking station it doesn't always pair smoothly. Also, Alexa is never as effective as asking Google. When docking it doesn't always automatically connect so if you get tired of the docking chore then you can uninstall the Alexa apps and just use it as a basic tablet. I bought this model because the tablet + Alexa docking station was less expensive than just buying the same model without the docking station so it was worth the experiment. All this said, I continue to use the docking station as Alexa is good for basic things like timers, weather & measurement conversions ... but not much more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst Tablet Ever

I bought it with 4GB RAM, it comes just with 2GB!!! Very slow not responding, keep freezing and crashing, I sent it 3 times to their service center they changed 2 times the MB and replace it with a new one. It comes with many apps activated by default. The Alexa is killing it, I disactivated it so the tablet runs slightly better. DON'T BUY IT
Google home does not recognize this device. I have at least 10 devices connected to my Google home and this is the first that I have had a problem with.
Ambiant mode microphone works but sound comes from a Google assistant in another room (somehow this is semi connected to my Google home without it being listed as a device in my home).
Ambiant mode digital photo frame stops working quickly. Switches to just the clock or blank screen when properly sitting in the dock).
Bought this tablet WITH dock solely because of the Google assistant. Sadly this works sporadically if ever and it fails to perform as expected. Otherwise it may be a fine and even exceptional tablet on many other levels, but as it failed on primary expectation I really can't recommend it. I have other Lenovo products that excel, so I was surprisingly disappointed.

I have issues with Bluetooth speaker. I have to pair it all the time to make it work. Sometimes have to press the bluetooth button saveral timea to make it work.

The tablet is excellent I love it! The only thing was that you incorrectly charged a provincial tax on me, and was unable to resolve the mistake. My company address is Alberta; however you charged me a British Columbia provincial tax. With that said I will still shop with Lenovo in the future, because your products are GREAT.
