It was merely ok

Took this out for the first time this week as we just received it. It really isn't that fast, it's more like a canoe if anything, but it served it's purpose. I wish there was a better way for the boat to be sturdier in the middle, as we found that we were really unbalanced in the canoe, and for two adult people, it was a little squishy. This is perfect for one person with gear. The front seat was horrible, and at first I though it was just me, but my partner then switched with me on the way back, and he also had bad back aches after we came to shore. There really isn't much lower lumbar support or support at all for the front user. The back seat was perfect, as there was support in the back with the rear boat area. Overall, this was an OK product, but there certainly can be more improvements for comfort and stability..

Impressive overall

Overall I was very impressed with the quality of this, my big draw back is the "seats". If you sit in the front seat you will have no back support of any kind which can kill the trip pretty quickly. The rear seat isn't as bad because you are supported by the body of the kayak itself. If I find a way to modify the front seat I'll have no complaints at all.

sturdy boat cheap price hit some rocks and kept going.it can also float with 2 people in it in really shallow water without fin.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great quality

We recently purchased this kayak. Very impressed with how easy it is to inflate. We've used it several times already.- both with only one person sitting in it and with two people. Our teenagers love it!!! Each time we are at the lake, we get lots of questions about it - everyone is jealous of our awesome kayak!!!!

the Challenger K2 is really easy to carry, set up and paddle. I'm 63 and hardly moved my heart rate getting out into the river. some fibreglass Yakkers I met were very impressed with the form and surprised at how little it cost. I'm looking forward to paddling with my sons, and heading into the ocean too, when wind and waves are suitable. thanks for a great product.
